Sustainability

leedUSGBC stands for United States Green Building Council. LEED stands for Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design. It is a green building certification system created by the United States Green Building Council in 2000, a point system, that rates buildings from bronze to platinum levels for their performance in energy and environmental categories.

From 2011 until 2014 I volunteered with the USGBC-NCC, United States Green Building Council – Northern California Chapter.

Our client, builder and design team was awarded the City of Santa Cruz Green Building Award for a private residence in the city of Santa Cruz in September of 2013.
